A MAGICAL CRUISE FROM PARIS TO LONDON
The Old War Office was once home to Legends. Today it has been transformed into a sophisticated hospitality destination for modern tastemakers. Located in the heart of Whitehall, The OWO overlooks some of London’s most majestic landmarks. This commanding building has been home to many well-known historical figures such as Sir Winston Churchill, Lord Haldane, Earl Kitchener and John Profumo, and was the inspiration behind Ian Fleming’s elusive James Bond.
Although it was once the stage of world-shaping events, it is now opening its doors offering an incredibly compelling opportunity to explore the city of London from an entirely fresh vantage point.
Café Lapérouse offers a haven of tranquility amidst the vibrant city of London. Underneath the canopy of the pavilion Occident, on it's terrace, or inside the Salon Orient : Immerse yourself in the rich history and charm of French art de vivre, combined with the sophistication of the British capital.

Step inside Café Lapérouse and its exquisite design, blending classic French aesthetics with contemporary elements, and timeless luxury.
Gourmet breakfast, healthy salads, refined dishes, delectable “croque monsieur” are a la carte… Café Lapérouse also offers a selection of refined beverages, brewed coffees, aromatic teas, and expertly crafted cocktails, meticulously prepared to enhance your dining experience.
ARCHITECTURAL, AND DESIGN INSPIRATION
The artistic director and decorator Cordelia de Castellane intended to create an atmosphere reminiscent of the different worlds of the navigator Lapérouse, and inspired by his other ports of call and the rich history of the flagship restaurant Lapérouse. The restaurant’s vision originates from two different sources. Cordelia de Castellane wanted to give the Cafés Lapérouse a Parisian spirit to be experienced abroad, with elegance and refined details. Many travel inspired elements feature in this part of the restaurant, such as shells adorning the magnificent bar, reminiscent of Lapérouse’s Island adventures. Café Lapérouse’s magnificent Parisian style terrace blooms with foliage, offering guests a refreshingly natural décor to relax in.
